Chicago, Jan. 27 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $5.75 million of 0% Accelerated Market Participation Securities due March 1, 2012 based on the performance of the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus double any fund gain, up to a maximum return of 23%.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
