Moody's ups International Paper to Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded International Paper Co.'s senior unsecured rating to Baa2 from Baa3.

The outlook is stable.

Moody's said the action recognizes International Paper's sustained deleveraging and the expectation of improving financial and operating performance.
