By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Jan. 7 - International Forest Products Ltd. (Interfor) has reached an agreement to sell a Spearfish, S.D., sawmill it is buying from Pope & Talbot to Neiman Enterprises, Inc. for $14 million plus working capital, according to an Interfor news release.

Interfor received approval from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Monday for the $69 million acquisition of three Pope & Talbot sawmills and related timber assets.

Interfor said the sawmill purchases have also been approved by the Canadian Competition Bureau and U.S. antitrust authorities.

Interfor is a Vancouver, B.C.-based producer of wood products.
