By Marisa Wong

Madison, Wis., July 25 - Hoang Anh Gia Lai JSC (HAGL) said it received the necessary consents from holders of its 9 7/8% senior notes due 2016 to amend the indenture governing the notes.

The consent solicitation began on July 18 and expired at noon ET on July 24. An amended and restated indenture for the notes was executed on Tuesday, according to a company announcement.

As noted before, approval of the proposed amendments required consents from holders of all outstanding notes.

The Pleiku City, Vietnam-based company issued $90 million of the 9 7/8% notes in May 2011 and repurchased $15 million of the notes earlier this month.

HAGL has businesses in real estate, rubber, energy and mining.
