Goldman Sachs to launch retail MTN program via Goldman, InCapital

New York, April 13 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. announced Monday that it is launching the Goldman Sachs Notes Program, according to a press release and prospectus.

The medium-term note program is expected to launch April 20, according to the release. This will be after Goldman Sachs' earnings conference call April 14.

Proceeds from the note program have not been specifically allotted but will be used to provide additional funds for operations and other general corporate purposes.

The bookrunners for the program are Goldman Sachs & Co. and InCapital LLC.

The financial services firm is based in New York City.
