S&P rates Hon Hai notes A-

S&P said it assigned an A- long-term issue rating and cnAA long-term Greater China regional scale rating to the upcoming medium-term notes issued by Foxconn (Far East) Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Ltd.

The notes will be issued under the $3.5 billion program that is unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Hon Hai, S&P said.
