First Interstate BancSystem calls all $50 million series A preferreds

Kansas City, Kan., Dec. 19 - First Interstate BancSystem, Inc. plans to redeem all $50 million of its 6.75% series A noncumulative redeemable preferred stock, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The preferreds will be redeemed on Jan. 18 at par plus accrued dividends.

As of Dec. 18, the company had 5,000 of the preferreds outstanding, the filing noted.

Based in Billings, Mont., First Interstate BancSystem is the holding company for First Interstate Bank, First Western Bank and First Western Bank Sturgis.
