Fitch rates Exelon notes BBB

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a BBB rating to Exelon Generation Co., LLC's issuance of senior notes.

Proceeds will be used to repay at maturity the company's $550 million of 4% notes due Oct. 1. The remainder will be used for general corporate purposes.

Fitch rates the company BBB with a stable outlook.
