Moody’s cuts, to withdraw Denver Parent

Moody's Investors Service said it downgraded Denver Parent Corp.’s probability of default rating to D-PD from Ca-PD following the company's announcement that it filed voluntary, pre-arranged petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on March 18.

Venoco, Inc., the principal operating subsidiary of Denver Parent, is also included in the Chapter 11 filing.

Moody's will withdraw all ratings for Denver Parent and Venoco in the near future.
