Destination Maternity reports $474,000 operating loss for May period

Olympia, Wash., June 17 – Destination Maternity Corp. reported a $474,000 operating loss for the May period on zero net sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In comparison, the company reported a $267,000 operating loss for the April, also on zero net sales.

The net loss for May was also $474,000, compared to $267,000 for April.

In addition, Destination Maternity listed $1.77 million in cash and cash equivalents as of May 31, compared to $1.75 million at the end of April.

Destination Maternity is a clothing retailer based in Moorestown, N.J. The company filed bankruptcy on Oct. 21, 2019 under Chapter 11 case number 19-12256.
