Mexico's Homex misses Sept. 25 interest payment on 9¾% notes

Madison, Wis., Sept. 26 - Desarrolladora Homex, SAB de CV said it did not make the interest payment due Sept. 25 on its 9¾% senior guaranteed notes due March 25, 2020.

The company issued $400 million of the 9¾% notes in February 2012.

Homex is a Culiacan, Mexico-based homebuilder focused on affordable entry-level and middle-income housing in Mexico and Brazil.
