deCODE unsecured creditors committee appointed by U.S. Trustee

Pittsburgh, Dec. 1 - deCODE genetics, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by acting Region 3 U.S. Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee is comprised of Stuart Rothenberg of indenture trustee Bank of New York Mellon; Eric Colandrea of Highbridge International LLC of New York; Dale Willenbring of White Box Combined Partners LP of Minneapolis; Greg Lopez of Broadridge, based in Edgewood, N.Y.; and Jerry Lukoskie of Merrill Corp., Ltd. of London.

deCODE, a Reykjavik, Iceland-based biopharmaceutical company, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 16. The Chapter 11 case number is 09-14063.
