Capital Power to redeem outstanding 5.276% notes due in November

New York, Sept. 9 – Capital Power Corp. plans to redeem all of its outstanding 5.276% medium term notes due Nov. 16, 2020 in an amount of C$251,181,000 on Oct. 9, according to a news release.

The redemption price will be C$1,025.61 per C$1,000 principal amount for a total of C$257,614,750.13, including applicable early redemption premiums and interest.

Capital Power is an Edmonton, Alta.-based power producer.
