California to price $1.03 billion of bond sales in October, November

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 15 - California will price four bond offerings in October and November, according to the state's bond sales calendar.

On Oct. 13 and Nov. 1, the state plans to sell $450 million of tax-exempt and $100 million of taxable State Public Works Board Lease Revenue Bonds. It will sell $300 million of tax-exempt State Public Works Board Lease Revenue Bonds on Nov 1. On Nov. 22, California plans to offer $176 million of taxable and tax-exempt State Public Works Board bonds.

The state's general obligation credit ratings, as of October 2010, were A- according to Fitch, A1 according to Moody's and A- according to Standard & Poor's.
