Coeur d'Alene Mines to make March 31 payment on 6½% notes in cash

San Diego, March 9 - Coeur d' Alene Mines Corp. will make the March 31 payment due on its $100 million of 6½% senior term notes due Dec. 31, 2012 in cash, according to an 8-K filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The amounts due under the notes may be paid in cash, shares of the company's stock or a combination of the two, according to the filing.

The Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee.

Coeur d'Alene Mines is a silver and gold producer based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
