Christian County, Ky., to remarket series 2006 bonds for Jennie Stuart

Tupelo, Miss., Sept. 3 - Christian County in Kentucky plans a mandatory tender to remarket and convert the series 2006 revenue and refunding bonds for the Jennie Stuart Medical Center, according to a preliminary remarketing circular released Wednesday.

The $60.1 million outstanding from the auction-rate bonds will be converted to a fixed interest rate on Sept. 18.

The term bonds (/BBB/BBB+) are due 2018, 2028 and 2036.

The bonds are insured by Assured Guaranty Corp.

Banc of America Securities LLC is the remarketing agent.
