Moody’s gives Bristol-Myers notes A2

Moody's Investors Service said it gave A2 ratings to Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.’s new senior unsecured notes offering.

There are no changes to the issuer’s other ratings including the A2 senior unsecured long-term ratings, Moody’s said.

The proceeds are for general corporate purposes including the financing of the planned acquisition of Mirati Therapeutics, Inc.

The outlook remains stable.
