Fitch removes BlackRock Capital from watch

Fitch Ratings said it removed BlackRock Capital Investment Corp.’s ratings from ratings watch negative.

“The removal of the negative rating watch follows BKCC's announcement that the firm entered into an amendment to its senior secured revolving credit agreement on Aug. 30, 2019, which reduced the minimum shareholders' equity requirement to $375 million from $450 million,” said Fitch in a press release.

The agency affirmed the company’s issuer default and senior unsecured debt ratings of BB+.

The outlook is stable.
