Moody’s rates Athene preferreds Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa3(hyb) rating to up $500 million of preferred notes to be issued by Athene Holding Ltd.

The agency assigned the Baa3 (hyb) preferred rating in July.

The proceeds are expected to be used for general corporate purposes.

The outlook for Athene is unchanged at stable.
