Moody’s revises AerCap view to positive

Moody’s Investors Service said it changed its outlook for AerCap Holdings NV to positive from stable.

“Moody's revised AerCap's outlook to positive from stable on expectations that the company will maintain solid earnings momentum over the next 12-18 months, that leverage and liquidity will be conservatively managed, and that the company will be able to secure the financing required to take delivery of aircraft it has committed to acquire and refinance upcoming debt maturities,” the agency said in a press release.

The agency also affirmed AerCap’s Baa2 long-term issuer rating, the Baa2 senior unsecured rating of AerCap Ireland Capital DAC, the Baa3(hyb) backed junior subordinate rating of AerCap Global Aviation Trust to Baa3(hyb), and the Ba1(hyb) preferred stock rating of International Lease Finance Corp.
