Adelphia to file objection to $100 million of claims

Pittsburgh, Nov. 4 - Adelphia Communications Corp. will file its eighth omnibus claims objection with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, seeking to reduce and allow, disallow and expunge and/or reclassify and allow more than $100 million of claims, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 6.

The Greenwood Village, Colo., cable television company filed for bankruptcy on June 25, 2002. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-41729.
