Satellite Income Funds acquire $5.5 million in Adelphia claims

Washington, Feb. 26 - Satellite Senior Income Fund LLC and Satellite Senior Income Fund II LLC reported acquiring $5.5 million in claims against Adelphia Communications Corp., according to filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Southern New York.

The largest claim was number 1702 for $4.37 million. All of the claims were acquired from Broadband Network Services doing business as Worldbridge Broadband Services. The claims numbers range from 1702-1709.

Adelphia, a Greenwood Village, Colo.-based cable television systems company, filed for Chapter 11 on June 25, 2002. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-41729
