ATP Oil & Gas reports $98,403 May loss from operations; revenue falls

Pittsburgh, June 24 – ATP Oil & Gas Corp. reported a $98,403 loss from operations for May on negative $6,025 in revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

In comparison, ATP posted $5,160 of income from operations for April on $51,158 in revenue.

Net income for May was $3.45 million, up from $1.25 million of net income for April.

The company also reported cash of $2.44 million as of May 31, a slight decrease from $2.5 million at the end of April.

ATP Oil & Gas is a Houston-based offshore oil and gas development and production company focused in the Gulf of Mexico, the Mediterranean Sea and the North Sea. The company filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 17, 2012 under Chapter 11 case number 12-36187.
