Asyst Technologies operating loss declines to $2.64 million in June

Pittsburgh, July 21 - Asyst Technologies, Inc. reported a $2.64 million operating loss for June on $2.2 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.

The figures compared with a $1.25 million operating loss posted for May on $2.22 million in revenues.

The net loss for June was $2.54 million, widening from a $1.19 million May net loss.

The company had $7.58 million in cash and cash equivalents at June 30, up slightly from$7.56 million at the end of May.

Asyst develops automation products for the semiconductor industry and is located in Fremont, Calif. The company filed for bankruptcy on April 20. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-43246.
