Valmet eyes first issue of euro-denominated five-year green notes

Lexington, Ky., March 1 – Valmet Corp. is planning an inaugural issue of a euro-denominated fixed-rate senior green notes with an expected principal amount of €200 million and a tenor of five years, according to a notice.

Danske Bank A/S and Nordea Bank Abp are serving as joint lead managers for the potential offering.

Proceeds will be used in accordance with the company’s newly launched green finance framework. Nordea also acted as an advisor in the establishment of the framework.

Valmet is a global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries. The head office is in Espoo, Finland.
