Benitago files Chapter 11 bankruptcy with over $50 million in debt

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 31 – Benitago Inc. and 28 affiliates filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

In their petition, the companies listed 200 to 999 creditors, $50 million to $100 million in assets and $50 million to $100 million in liabilities.

The largest unsecured creditors are Stefana – Veronica Sticlaru and Adrian Sticlaru, based in Bucharest, Romania, with a $1.5 million debt claim, and CalMyotis (HK) Ltd., based in Central, Hong Kong, with a $1.37 million debt claim.

Togut, Segal & Segal LLP is proposed counsel to the debtors.

New York-based Benitago purchases companies that sell their products through Amazon. The Chapter 11 case number is 23-11394.
