Mercy Iowa City’s official committee of unsecured creditors formed

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 15 – Mercy Iowa City’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed, according to a notice filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Iowa.

The members are Altera Digital Health, Inc., based in Chicago, J&K PMS, Inc., based in Forth Worth, Medifis, based in Dallas, Steindler Orthopedic Clinic, based in Iowa City, and Cardinal Health, based in Dublin, Ohio.

The Iowa City-based hospital filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Aug. 7 under case number 23-00623.
