Chicago, June 20 – BpiFrance priced €1 billion of 3.125% green bonds due 2033 (Aa2//AA-) on Tuesday, according to a market source.
The bonds priced with a 99.017 discount to yield 3.243%, or at mid-OATs plus 29 basis points.
BNP Paribas (billing and delivery), Credit Agricole CIB, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, JPMorgan and Societe Generale were joint bookrunners for the Regulation S deal.
Proceeds will be used to finance eligible projects. The company is aiming to finance solar and wind projects, green building projects and financing for Greentech firms that meet the eligibility criteria in the framework.
Investor meetings were held through Friday. The order book went over €11.5 billion.
The notes will be listed in Paris.
The issuer is a French public investment bank, formed by the joint venture of Caisse des depots et consignations and EPIC BPI-Groupe.
