Value Partners Group adds Sean Chang as co-chief investment officer

Lexington, Ky., Feb. 1 – Value Partners Group Ltd. appointed Sean Chang as co-chief investment officer of fixed income effective Jan. 30, according to a press release.

Chang will be based in Singapore.

Chang joins the group from Ping An of China Asset Management where he was head of fixed income.

Previously he was head of Asia debt investment at Baring Asset Management (Asia) Ltd., specializing in Chinese mainland research strategies and China credit decisions.

During his career, Chang has held other senior positions at Halbis Capital, Mirae Asset Global Investments, Hang Seng Investment Management, Invesco Asset Management Asia, HSBC Private Bank and HSBC Asset Management.

Value Partners is a Hong Kong-based value investing specialist.
