Pipeline Health seeks post-confirmation exclusivity extension

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 31 – Pipeline Health System, LLC is seeking an extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The company’s uncontested Chapter 11 plan was confirmed on Jan. 13, as previously reported.

Pipeline said despite its significant progress, it is continuing to negotiate documentation for the plan to become effective, including finalizing the terms of its exit facility, new common equity and takeback facility.

The company said it fully expects to emerge within the coming days, but the current exclusivity period expired on Jan. 30.

Out of an abundance of caution, the company asked to extend the exclusive plan filing period through March 1 and the exclusive solicitation period through May 1.

Pipeline Health System is an El Segundo, Calif.-based community-focused health care network. It filed bankruptcy on Oct. 2 under Chapter 11 case number 22-90291.
