Pipeline Health plan hearing moved to January at company’s request
By Sarah Lizee
Olympia, Wash., Dec. 13 – Pipeline Health System, LLC’s hearing on confirmation of its Chapter 11 plan has been moved to Jan. 13 from Dec. 19 at the company’s request, according to an order filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
The voting deadline was pushed back to 6 p.m. ET on Jan. 6.
The company said in its motion it needs more time to negotiate with parties in interest and build stakeholder consensus on some key issues needed for confirmation.
Pipeline Health said it doesn’t believe pushing back the hearing will delay its ultimate timeline for emergence.
The company said that in tandem with building stakeholder consensus, the debtors are advancing definitive documentation and starting the regulatory process needed to ultimately effectuate the plan under the currently contemplated timeline.
Pipeline Health System is an El Segundo, Calif.-based community-focused health care network. It filed bankruptcy on Oct. 2 under Chapter 11 case number 22-90291.
