Spring Mountain Vineyard case to be dismissed, effective Jan. 1

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 16 – Spring Mountain Vineyard Inc.’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy case is set to be dismissed at the request of Region 17 U.S. trustee Tracy Hope Davis, according to a minute entry filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.

The dismissal motion will be granted effective on Jan. 1, but there is a provision that lender MGG California, LLC may file a motion for reconsideration.

The Saint Helena, Calif.-based winery filed bankruptcy on Sept. 29, 2022 under Chapter 11 case number 22-10381.
