Madison Square Boys & Girls Club receives exclusivity extension

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 18 – Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, Inc. received a further extension to its plan filing exclusivity period, to March 13 from Jan. 10, according to a filing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The debtor also received an extension of its solicitation exclusivity period to May 12.

The company had asked for longer extensions, through April 10 and July 24, respectively.

The extra time will give the debtor enough time to work with the official committee of unsecured creditors to implement the terms of the committee settlement in a confirmable plan of reorganization, the company had said in its motion.

The New York-based non-profit after-school program provider filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 29, 2022 under case number 22-10910.
