Prospect News reports two new defaults for Jan. 6-Jan. 12 period

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 14 – Prospect News reported two new defaults for the period of Jan. 6 through Jan. 12.

Specifically, Prospect News reported a Chapter 11 filing made by Seadrill New Finance Ltd. and a bankruptcy filing in Germany by Genting Hong Kong Ltd.’s subsidiary, MV Werften.

So far in 2022, Prospect News has reported three defaults, including one each of Chapter 11 filings, Chapter 15 filings and bankruptcy filings.

Seadrill New Finance listed $500 million to $1 billion in both assets and liabilities.
