S&P moves Uniqa outlook to stable

S&P said it revised its outlook for Uniqa Insurance Group AG to stable from negative and affirmed its A- rating.

“The outlook revision reflects our view that the risk of capital and earnings volatility from Uniqa's asset exposure in Russia and Ukraine has receded. The group managed to retain its solid capital position above AAA according to our model, while its improved operating performance allowed Uniqa to fully offset losses from Russian and Ukrainian asset impairments,” the agency said in a press release.
