Gulf Coast Health Care amends Chapter 11 plan with Florida plaintiffs

Chicago, April 28 – Gulf Coast Health Care, LLC amended its Chapter 11 plan of liquidation in consultation with 38 tort plaintiffs, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The confirmation hearing was moved to April 27 as a continuation of the April 19 hearing.

Gulf Coast met with the 38 tort plaintiffs, the Florida plaintiffs, to modify the plan before the continued hearing.

Nearly all of the changes are focused on the debtor release.

Pensacola, Fla.-based Gulf Coast Health Care is a nursing home chain. The company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Oct. 14 under case number 21-11336.
