Goldman Sachs Renewable’s Project Slate closes financings with Natixis

Chicago, Aug. 20 – Goldman Sachs Renewable Power LLC, an investment company managed by the renewable power business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, closed on two separate financings for Project Slate, a solar plus storage project being constructed in Kings County, Calif., according to a press release on Friday.

Natixis is the administrative agent and joint lead arranger on $515.9 million of senior secured credit facilities for the project.

Natixis also acted as lead arranger for a $150 million equity bridge loan, the proceeds of which will be used to fund Goldman Sachs Renewable Power’s equity contribution into the project.

New York-based Goldman Sachs Renewable Power is a private company managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management that owns and manages renewable power assets, primarily in the United States.
