Amsterdam House reports $447,620 net loss for March

Olympia, Wash., April 24 – Amsterdam House Continuing Care Retirement Community, Inc., which does business as the Harborside, reported a $447,620 net loss for March on $1.72 million gross income/sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.

To compare, the company reported a $575,612 net income for February on $2.6 million gross income/sales.

The cash balance at the end of March was $3.73 million, down from $4.04 million at the end of February.

The Port Washington, N.Y.-based retirement community builder and operator filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy for the third time on March 22, 2023 under Chapter 11 case number 23-70989.
