Fitch rates Saudi Aramco sukuk A

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Saudi Arabian Oil Co.'s inaugural $6 billion sukuk issuance, issued through the trustee SA Global Sukuk Ltd. a final rating of A.

The rating is in line with Saudi Aramco's long-term issuer default rating and senior unsecured rating of A, Fitch said.

Fitch said the proceeds are being used for general corporate purposes.
