Prospect News reports four new defaults for March 11-March 17 period

Olympia, Wash., March 19 – Prospect News reported four new defaults for the week of March 4 through March 10.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings made by California-Nevada Methodist Homes, Nine Point Energy Holdings, Inc. and HighPoint Resources Corp., and a Chapter 7 filing made by Brilliant Energy, LLC.

Prospect News also reported a Chapter 15 filing made by Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA, but the company had previously defaulted in November, when the company initiated an examinership process in Ireland.

So far in 2021, Prospect News has reported 46 defaults, including 35 Chapter 11 filings, four Chapter 15 filings, three missed interest payments and one each of Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act filings, Chapter 7 filings, missed principal payments and safeguard proceedings.

The three companies that filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy during the week reported over $936.64 million in assets and over $910.43 million in liabilities.
