S&P gives Sagen MI notes BBB+

S&P said it assigned its BBB+ issue rating to Sagen MI Canada Inc.'s C$200 million of 5.909% senior unsecured debentures due 2028.

The agency reviewed the issuer’s ratings on April 25.

The company intends to use the proceeds for early redemption of its 4.242% debentures due 2024.

The outlook is stable.
