New Issue: GS Finance sells $26.1 million autocallable contingent coupon notes on three indexes

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, April 8 – GS Finance Corp. priced $26.1 million of autocallable contingent coupon index-linked notes due April 9, 2026 linked to the Russell 2000 index, the S&P 500 index and the Dow Jones industrial average index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each month, the notes will pay a contingent coupon at the rate of 10.25% per year if each underlying asset closes at or above its coupon trigger level, 70% of its initial level, on the observation date for that period.

The notes will be automatically called at par if each underlying asset closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly observation date.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the contingent coupon unless the least performing asset finishes below its buffer level, 70% of its initial level, in which case investors will have full exposure to the decline of the laggard index.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
