Moody's assigns B2 to IMA

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a B2 corporate family rating and B2-PD probability of default rating to IMA Industria Macchine Automatiche SpA. The agency also withdrew the B2 CFR and B2-PDR of Sofima Holding SpA, a previous holding company of IMA, into which Sofima merged after being taken private by the Vacchi family and BC Partners completed earlier this year.

Concurrently, Moody's affirmed the B2 instrument ratings on the €830 million of guaranteed senior secured notes and the €450 million of guaranteed senior secured floating-rate notes due 2028, which had been transferred to IMA after the merger.

The outlook for both entities is stable.
