BWAY Holding investor ValueAct sells shares, drops interest to 6.2%

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 11 - BWAY Holding Co. investors led by ValueAct SmallCap Master Fund, LP sold 309,726 shares of the company's stock between Nov. 16 and Dec. 9 priced from $15.50 to $17.09 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed on Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Between Oct. 26 and Nov. 13, ValueAct sold 300,000 shares priced from $16.94 to $18.36 each and kept a 7.6% stake, a prior SEC filing said.

ValueAct beneficially owns 1,365,654 shares, or 6.2%, of the company's outstanding stock.

Atlanta-based BWAY Holding manufactures and distributes metal and rigid plastic containers used primarily by manufacturers of industrial and consumer products for packaging.
