Skyline, 8minute Solar get $151 million to build Texas solar plant

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 29 – Skyline Renewables and 8minute Solar Energy secured a $151 million financing from CIT Group Inc. to fund construction of a project both companies oversee, according to a press release.

The proceeds will be used to help build the 250-megawatt Galloway I solar farm planned for Concho County, Texas.

Portland, Ore.-based Skyline and Los Angeles-based 8minute Solar build solar plants.
