Brazil’s Movida Participacoes explores issuing new debt securities

Chicago, Jan. 25 – Movida Participacoes SA announced that it is exploring an issue of debt securities (B+) in the international market, according to a company notice.

The company would issue the notes to extend the maturity of its debt with proceeds to be used for general corporate purposes and debt refinancing.

The Sao Paulo, Brazil-based company is one of the largest rental car companies in Brazil.
