Ignitis to ink up to PLN 150 million 15-year loan for wind farm

New York, Oct. 13 – AB Ignitis Grupe subsidiary UAB Ignitis Renewables intends to sign an agreement with the Northern Investment Bank for a loan of up to PLN 150 million for the implementation of the Pomerania wind farm project.

Under the agreement, all the shares of Pomerania Wind Farm sp. z o.o. will be pledged to the lender.

The first-call agreement for the loan was approved on Monday. The loan is expected to be repaid by Dec. 31, 2035.

The 300 GWh Pomerania wind farm is located in Pomeranian Voivodship, Poland, and is expected to be fully operational in early 2021.

The state-controlled energy holding company is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.
