Building Materials to refinance second-lien loan with notes proceeds

New York, March 9 - Building Materials Corp. of America plans to repay its second-lien term loan due in 2014 using proceeds from a $325 million notes offering, according to a market source.

Building Materials is a Wayne, N.J.-based manufacturer of residential roofing and commercial roofing.
