Standard & Poor's said it lowered its long-term global-scale ratings on Province of Mendoza and Province of Buenos Aires in the Republic of Argentina to B from B+.

These rating actions follow the downgrade of Argentina to B from B+, the agency noted, adding that these actions reflect the close linkage between the sovereign and the local governments in Argentina

The outlook on both is stable.

The agency said it also affirmed its B+ global-scale rating on the government of the City of Buenos Aires.
