Moody’s assigns State Power notes A2

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned an A2 senior unsecured rating to the proposed drawdown under State Power Investment Corp. Ltd.’s multi-issuer medium-term note program. SPIC MTN Co. Ltd. will sell the notes and State Power Investment will guarantee them.

Moody’s rates State Power Investment A2. Since State Power Investment will guarantee the notes and they will rank equally with its other unsecured and unsubordinated debt, Moody’s said it assigned an A2 rating to the notes.

State Power Investment will use the proceeds for working capital, refinancing and general corporate purposes.

The outlook is stable.
